How do I stop programs from automatically opening on startup?

1. Open the Run command dialog box by pressing the Windows key + R

2. Type msconfig

3. Click on the Startup tab and uncheck the boxes for programs you don't want to start when you boot the computer.

4. Click Apply and OK to save changes.
