Follow the steps below to enable and disable system restore:

1. Open the Start menu and choose Control Panel.
2. Select the System category.
3. Choose the System Protection tab on the left.
4. Select the system drive and choose Configure.
5. Open the dropdown menu and select either Disable system protection or Turn on system protection.
6. Confirm your selection and restart your computer.
