Here are some ideas on how to disable taskbar notifications:

1. Open the Windows Start menu, and type notifications. Click on Settings.
2. In the Settings window, choose System.
3. In the System window, click Notifications & Actions on the left-hand side.
4. On the right-hand side, you will see a drop down menu with the options Show notification banners and Hide notifications while presenting.
5. Choose the option you'd like, and click OK.
