Here is a list of steps to enable or disable password protection on your computer:
- Open your computer’s Control Panel.
- Select User Accounts and Family Safety.
- Speak to the person in charge of user accounts, and choose Manage User Accounts.
- Select the account name you want to change.
- Click on Create a Password.
- Follow the directions to create a password.
- Click Create and Apply to save changes
- To remove the password, follow the same steps and select Remove Password.
