Why is my internet not working on my work laptop?

1. Check that the laptop is connected to a power source.

Check the laptop’s Wi-Fi settings to make sure that it is enabled and properly connected to an available network.


2. Restart the router and laptop.

If the laptop is still not connecting to the internet, power off the router and then power it back on. Then restart the laptop.


3. Check firewalls and antivirus settings.

Open the settings menu for the firewalls and antivirus software installed on the laptop to make sure nothing is blocking the laptop’s connection to the internet.


4. Contact your internet service provider.

If all of the above steps have been done but the laptop still does not connect to the internet, contact the internet service provider.
