- Make sure your modem is disconnected from the wall outlet
- Check the ethernet cable connection from modem to the computer
- Restart your modem by unplugging it from the wall outlet for 10 seconds and then plugging it back in
- Open your internet browser and then enter the IP address of your modem in the address bar of the browser
- Look for the DNS settings in your modem’s page and make sure that your DNS settings are correctly entered
- Restart your computer to see if the Internet connection has been restored
