Here are some troubleshooting steps to try if you can't connect to your home network remotely:
- Check that your modem and router are both powered on and functioning properly.
- Verify that your wireless network’s SSID (name) is visible and that your device can detect it.
- Check that you are connecting to the right network.
- Ensure that your router’s current password is entered correctly when connecting.
- If you have multiple bands or routers, make sure you’re connecting to the same band as the router you’re trying to connect to.
- Try resetting the router, and/or rebooting and reconnecting your device.
