Why is my phone’s touch ID or fingerprint scanner not working?

1. Check to make sure your finger is clean and dry.
2. Make sure you’re pressing down all the way to the phone’s home button.
3. Restart your phone.
4. Check the settings on your phone to make sure the touch ID feature is enabled.
5. If all else fails, try re-enrolling your fingerprint in the phone’s settings.
