Steps to help with calls going to voicemail
- Check if your cell phone has signal bars
Verify that your cell phone is set to enable calls to come through with the correct setting within your cellular provider’s network- a strong signal is often key. You’ll need to make sure that your phone is not on Do Not Disturb, Airplane Mode, or out of range.
- Check to see if your call barring settings are activated
If a setting within your phone is blocking incoming calls, you will need to adjust the call barring settings and make sure that the incoming call is not blocked.
- Check for phone updates
Having the correct software version and updating the phone will provide you with the latest features and help ensure that your calls are not being routed elsewhere.
- Turn your phone off and then turn it back on
