Why is my laptop’s screen black with a flashing cursor?
Check the Power
Make sure the laptop is plugged into a power source and that the laptop is turned on.
Reset the Laptop
Reset the laptop by pressing the power button for a few seconds until the laptop turns off. Re-power it and see if it functions again.
External Monitor
Try an external monitor with the laptop and see if that works. If it does, then the issue may be with the laptop’s display.
