Why is my laptop screen not rotating when I flip it?

Start with by making sure the laptop is equipped with auto-rotate function.
Check the laptop system settings or try using hot keys to invert your screen while in your normal desktop.
If the settings appear to be correct or the hot keys do not work, turn the laptop off and disconnect power and peripheral cables.
Turn the laptop back on and flip the display accordingly, enabling auto-rotate and making any necessary adjustments in the settings or hot keys.
