- Check if the Wi-Fi switch is enabled
- Check if the wireless modem is switched on and properly connected
- Check if the wireless network is turned ON/OFF
- If you are using a router, verify that DHCP is enabled
- Verify if the cable is properly connected to the modem
- Restart the laptop, modem and/or router
- Check for service outages
- Scan for viruses
- Update the network adapter driver
