1. Check if the mouse is connected correctly and securely to the USB port.
2. Right click on ‘Start’ -> select ‘Device Manager’.
3. Click on the ‘Mice and other pointing devices’ to check if the mouse is listed.
4. Unplug the mouse and plug it back in.
5. Check for any additional USB drivers updates for the mouse in ‘Device Manager’.
6. Clean the USB port with a dry cloth and plug the mouse in.
7. Restart the computer once the issue is resolved.
