Why is my laptop not connecting to a specific Bluetooth speaker or headset?

1. Check to see if the headpones are Bluetooth compatible
2. Verify that the laptop has a Bluetooth adapter installed
3. Restart the Bluetooth device and laptop
4. Check the Bluetooth device to verify the device is powered on
5. Check the device manager on the laptop to verify if the Bluetooth device is recognised and enabled.
6. Check your Windows Bluetooth settings
7. Check your system’s Volume settings to make sure sound is enabled for Bluetooth devices
8. Check for a firmware update for the Bluetooth device
