Why is my laptop not connecting to a specific Bluetooth speaker or headset?
- Check to see if the headpones are Bluetooth compatible
- Verify that the laptop has a Bluetooth adapter installed
- Restart the Bluetooth device and laptop
- Check the Bluetooth device to verify the device is powered on
- Check the device manager on the laptop to verify if the Bluetooth device is recognised and enabled.
- Check your Windows Bluetooth settings
- Check your system’s Volume settings to make sure sound is enabled for Bluetooth devices
- Check for a firmware update for the Bluetooth device
