1. Click on the Start menu and search for 'Settings'.
2. Once the desktop Settings application starts, select the 'Apps' option on the window.
3. From the left-hand side menu, select 'Default apps'.
4. Scroll down till you see 'Music Player' under the heading 'Choose which apps to set as default'.
5. Select the desired app to open your music files.
