Why are my emails from a specific sender going straight to my junk folder?

There are several things you can do when your emails are going straight to your junk folder:

  1. Check the spam/junk folder settings in the email application and ensure the email in question is not marked as spam.
  2. In the same settings, add the sender of the emails to the contact list or 'safe senders list'.
  3. Check if the sender’s email or domain name is blacklisted.
  4. Check the email protocol (POP3, IMAP, or Exchange) and make sure it is configured correctly.
  5. Configure the anti-spam settings and ensure the settings are not too stringent.
