1. Make sure that your webcam is properly covered with a physical cover (tape or sticker).
2. Re-install the software on your device that includes your webcam.
3. If your device has a built-in webcam, make sure to update the BIOS and your operating system.
4. Make sure to use a secure internet connection (e.g. VPN) and password protect your device, if possible.
5. Review the camera settings on your mobile and tablet device and ensure the privacy settings are enabled.
6. Make sure that all of your virus protection software, firewalls and security measures are kept up to date.
