Is it safe to send sensitive information via email?

1. If possible, use end-to-end encryption.
2. Should you send it, use a distinctive subject and body content so that the message is easily found if hacking attempts are made.
3. Check the address carefully and do not include confidential information in the address field.
4. Always require authentication of all emails.
5. Ask the recipient to delete the message after they receive it and read it.
