How do I insert a new selection or heading in a table of contents in my document?

To insert a new selection or heading in a table of contents in your document, follow these steps:

  1. In the document, add the new heading to the page or selection you want to be included in the table of contents.
  2. Click the References tab at the top of the document.
  3. Select Table of Contents from the Menu.
  4. Choose Manual Table, which is at the bottom.
  5. Highlight the selection or heading you added.
  6. Click on Insert Table of Contents to add the selection or heading to the table.
  7. Your new selection or heading should now be included in the table of contents of the document.
