To add a new channel to your Teams team,

1. On the Teams team navigation bar, select More options ( ) > Add channel.
2. Set the channel name, description, and privacy settings.
3. In the Additional options section, choose whether to display the channel in the teams list.
4. Click the Save button to create the new channel.
