To set up a recurring reminder for a specific project task in SharePoint, follow these steps:
- Open the list or library, and select the item for which to set up a reminder.
- Select the ellipses (…) on the left side of the item
- Select Alert me
- In the Alert me dialog box, select Set alert creating box option
- On the Alert for page, select the Alert Title and type the desired alert message in the Alert message box
- Under Delivery Method, select the Repeat at interval check box and select the desired time interval
- Select OK to save the alert.
Your reminder will now be set to the plan. Note that the time zone of the reminder is the same as the time zone you specified in your system.
