What steps do I take if my shared drive isn’t showing any updated file versions?


  1. Check the shared network settings to ensure the folder is in the shared network
  2. Restart the computer to ensure all connections are being made
  3. Check to see if any new firewall settings are blocking the shared folder
  4. Ensure all users have access to edit and update the shared folder
  5. Check that files are stored within the shared drive
  6. Ensure all user’s accounts have access to the shared drive
  7. Check that the folder is set to auto-sync files
  8. Check the operating system permissions
