To change the default sorting options for files on the shared drive:


  1. Open your file explorer
  2. Select the shared drive you wish to change
  3. Scroll to the top of the window and find the ‘sort by’ dropdown menu
  4. Choose the sorting method you wish to set as default
  5. Click to apply the changes
