- Check the file size of the image. PowerPoint does not support images greater than 10MB.
- Check if the graphics file is a supported format. PowerPoint only supports certain file formats.
- Check if the image is located on your local device or if it is from the internet. If from the internet, check if the image actually exists.
- Save the image in a different format compatible with PowerPoint.
- Unlock the source image so PowerPoint can insert it into your presentation.
- Remove any unwanted objects in the image such as text boxes, shapes and watermarks so the image can be displayed properly.
