Why is my computer not recognizing my printer after a software update?

1. Check if the printer is turned on and connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the device running the software update.

2. Download and install the most recent drivers from the manufacturer’s website, and ensure they are installed correctly.

3. Check if your computer's antivirus or firewall is blocking the printer.

4. Check if the printer network settings are correct.

5. Ensure fetch and print commands are working if the printer uses an app.

6. Unplug and plug back in the USB cable or power cable, then check your driver settings again.
