Take the following steps to set up a password for a program or a file:

1. Open the program or file you wish to set the password for.
2. Look for the Preferences option and click on it.
3. In the menu, look for the Password section and click on it.
4. Enter the desired password twice to confirm it, before saving.
5. Check that your program is locked, using the newly-created password.
