Why is Outlook not showing my emails in the correct language or character encoding?

To ensure the correct language shows up in your Outlook emails, do the following:

  1. Check the language settings:Go to File > Options > Language and make sure the language you need is enabled.

  2. Choose a different encoding:Go to File > Options > Advanced, scroll to the International section, and choose a different encoding.

  3. Change the default font:Go to File > Options > Mail > Compose Messages > Font, and change the Font to a Unicode font such as Calibri.
