- Customize page outlines and numbering in OneNote for Mac
- Select the Home tab at the top of your page.
- Choose Outlining from the list of commands.
- To show the outline of your page, select Show Outline.
- To customize the display of the outline, select List Styles and select a preset list style.
- To change the numbering format, select Set Numbering and select a preset numbering format.
