To password protect a section or notebook in OneNote, follow these steps:

1. Open the notebook you want to protect.
2. Click on the File tab located on the ribbon.
3. Select Info from the navigation pane that appears on the left.
4. Click the Protect Notebook tab.
5. Click Password.
6. Enter and confirm the password.
7. Click OK.
