Why am I experiencing packet loss in my internet connection?


  1. Check the cables and modem/router connections to ensure a solid connection.
  2. Check for physical obstacles or any interference (other wireless networks and devices).
  3. Verify that there are no server and/or router issues by ping-testing the routers, and/or contacting your ISP (Internet Service Provider).
  4. Try changing the type of encryption that your router is using if it is possible, as some types of encryption may have weaker signals.
  5. If the packet loss is due to a signal strength-related issue, try using a Wireless Booster/Range Extender to increase the signal strength.
