Why can’t I connect to the internet?

Let’s work through possible solutions

  1. Make sure your device is connected to your router, or to a cable or DSL modem.
  2. Restart your router and modem. Unplug it from the power socket, wait a few seconds, and then plug it back in.
  3. Make sure the cables connected to your modem and router aren't loose.
  4. Check to see if your modem and router are compatible with each other.
  5. Make sure your Wi-Fi is enabled on your device.
  6. Check to make sure your modem is turned on.
  7. If you’re using a mobile device, make sure you have an active data plan.
  8. If the above steps haven’t resolved your issue, you may need to contact your internet service provider.
