Why am I unable to access my Archive or Online Archive in Outlook for Exchange?

If you are unable to access your Archive or Online Archive in Outlook for Exchange, please do the following:


  1. Verify that Outlook is configured with an archiving policy.
  2. Verify that the archive mailbox is enabled and the date is properly set.
  3. Verify that the account has sufficient permissions to access the content of the Archive mailbox.
  4. Verify if the account is enabled for archiving in exchange.
  5. If any updates were made to the mailbox, restart Outlook.
