How do I use the TRANSPOSE or SERIES functions in Excel?

To use the TRANSPOSE or SERIES functions in Excel, follow these steps:


  1. Select the range of data to transpose
  2. Go to the ‘Copy’ section of the ‘Home’ tab
  3. Select ‘Transpose’
  4. If your data set is simple, click ‘Series’ and choose whether you want to create a column, row, or data series
