How can I insert comments or notes to the side of cells in Excel?

1. To insert comments and notes to the side of cells in Excel you can use the Comments option located in the Insert tab of the Home ribbon.
2. To add your comments or notes in Excel, you can click the cell where you want the comment, then go to the Insert tab and click the Comments button. This will open a box on the side of the cell for you to type in your comment or note.
3. To quickly add or edit a comment, right-click the cell with the comment and select Edit Comment.
4. To close and hide the comment box, click the Close button in the comment box. To view the comment again, simply hover over the cell with the comment.
5. To delete the comment, right-click the cell and select Delete Comment.
