How do I apply a formula to multiple cells at once?

< 1 min read

To apply a formula to multiple cells at once, you can use the ‘fill handle’ option. To use this, first select the cells with the data you want to apply the formula to, then enter your formula in the cell you want the results to appear in. Next, click and hold down the fill handle (the black box in the bottom right-hand corner of the cell) and drag the fill handle across the selection of cells you want to apply the formula to. When you let go of the fill handle, the formula will be applied to all the selected cells.
