Why do my appointments show as busy on my Microsoft calendar, even though I marked them as available?

It’s possible that your Microsoft calendar still has set the appointments as busy. To resolve this issue, try the following:

  1. Check the settings of your calendar event: Make sure that the event is marked as Free or Available
  2. Check your Outlook calendar for any blocked updates or rule settings: Make sure that ‘Busy’ is not set as the default value
