How do I reset the default administrative password in Active Directory?

1. Open the Active Directory Administrative Center, and click Configuration and select User.


2. Locate the Administrator user account and double click.


3. Choose Reset Password on the Account tab.


4. Type and confirm the new password in the required fields.


5. Select OK. The new password has been set.
